1. When talking about tastes, we can mean many things. Now since it's usually about clothing and food, I'll tell my opinion about that. I belive there is a strong connection between one's clothing and his or her favorite color, mostly because color is an important aspect when choosing certain clothes and because there are some clothes that only work in some colors. When it comes to dishes, the effect is not that strong, but certain foods may loom more or less appealing based on one's favorite color.
2. I am pretty sceptical (nu cred ca am scris cuvantul asta corect) about this, as I've seen people with black, or light gray as their favorite colors, and they are mostly social and happy people.
